Kathy Griffin has been strutting around quite a lot of late flaunting her stunning bikini body; however she wasn’t exactly the idol for self confidence few years back. Talking about her new look, the comedian commented that she really cannot figure out why she has always been so bothered about the way she looks, since she is just a comedian and not some supermodel walking down the ramp in Milan.

till for a pretty long time Griffin kept no stone unturned to alter her looks. At the age of 26, while finding an agent for herself, the comedian decided to go under the blade for the first time to get a rhinoplasty or popularly called a nose job. Griffin has affirmed her decision multiple times saying that many people had made fun of her previously and commented that she would have been surely pretty minus that nose and a nose job would do her some real good. Being at quite a young age Kathy opted to take up the advice and actually go under the knife to fix her nose.
If you compare her before and after pictures, the next evident change in her looks is her weight, which well she was rather obsessed about. Not only did she go for numerous weight loss diet, work out sessions and even pills to keep her weight under control. Although she was quite pleased about her fast weight loss within a short while, nevertheless the weight came right back and almost twice as fast as before. Fed up with the pesky problem, Kathy finally decided to go under the blade and get a liposuction done. Unlike most celebs, Kathy has been a tad too open about her surgeries in the public, justifying each procedure she went under.
Comedian Kathy Griffin is one of the few celebs willing to admit that she’s had a lot of plastic surgery — so much so that she became a bit addicted to the procedures, signing up for liposuction, nose jobs, brow lifts, Botox, chemical peels and even more liposuction in the late ’90s and early ‘aughts.
Ironically, she doesn’t look a whole lot different now than she did back in 1996 when ‘Suddenly Susan,’ the sitcom on which she starred with Brooke Shields, was on the air. But maybe that was the whole point.
Regardless, she has her regrets, saying in 2008, “[Plastic surgery] didn’t help me one bit … It didn’t get me happier or didn’t make me look particularly younger, it didn’t help me get jobs. What I realize now is … no one expected me to come out in a bikini anyway.”
She’s since sworn off the procedures and has vowed to let herself age naturally. Well, the parts of her that still can, anyway.
