Kate Gosselin will never admit to getting more than a tummy tuck in the plastic surgery department, but experts have stated that her face proves otherwise.
According to several doctors, there are several hints to the number of plastic surgery procedures that Kate has gotten, which include Botox, a neck lift, laser surgery, and fat transfers.
A popular plastic surgeon from Beverly Hills [via Radar Online] weighs in, explaining, “Judging by low brows and less lines between the brows, Botox is very likely. The makeup makes it a bit challenging to say accurately, but a skin tightening light pulse or serial lasers, chemical peels as well as a neck lift are all possibilities to explain the tighter jawline. Fillers or fat transfer also are likely making her overall cheeks and face softer as well.”
Well, of course Kate went and spruced herself up – she’s on television regularly for the first time in years, ever since Jon and Kate Plus 8 ended. Kate definitely looks years younger during her appearances on Celebrity Apprentice, but a large part of that also has to due with the HD makeup that they force contestants to wear on that show. But even then, it’s a remarkable difference to the woman we’re used to seeing in candids or interviews. It’s obvious that Kate’s gotten several procedures to fix up her face. After all, HD television is very unforgiving, and Kate clearly plans to continue her reality television career for as long as possible.
After the Celebrity Apprentice, she even has that special with her kids coming up during the summer. Thus, it wouldn’t be very surprising to see Kate continue with her plastic surgery experimentation, and it’s possible that the results start becoming much more obvious and much less subtle with time. It always happens that way, right? They start off slowly, and then they can’t stop themselves – and eventually, it just becomes an addiction.
Kate Gosselin Plastic Surgery Addiction Revealed After Twins Child Abuse Claims?
For years now, the public has accused Gosselin of getting a litany of plastic surgeries. Now a new tabloid report offers up "photo evidence" of the alleged procedures. These latest addiction rumors come after claims that Gosselin may be guilty of child abuse, as one author reports that she would physically endanger the twins.
Love her or hate her, it seems like Kate Gosselin just can't catch a break.
Not only was her summer spoiled by countless tabloid reports that she and ex-husband Jon Gosselin resumed their epic feuding, but now a popular (though utterly unreliable) tabloid, National Enquirer, suggests that Kate may be addicted to plastic surgery.
Unfortunately, cosmetic surgery rumors aren't the only charges being levied at Kate these days. Robert Hoffman, who penned a damning tell all book about Kate, is making some terrible allegations.
The author claims to have stolen some of Kate's private diaries. According to the sketchy author, one of the most damning excerpts has to involve her use of violence against son Collin:
"I grabbed him and spanked him as hard as I could and thought I may seriously injure him, so I sent him to his crib...and whipped him into it very hard. I really REALLY lost it! I pulled Collin up by the hair and I spanked them so hard!" As for her then husband Jon Gosselin, Kate called him at work after the incident with Collin, 'I told him in so many words that I felt like I may hurt his children.'"
Kate Gosselin’s ‘Definitely’ Had A Facelift — Experts Say
Dr. Steven Fallek, a New York-based plastic surgeon, says, “Definitely a facelift — which includes her neck.” He adds that the “angles look much sharper along her lower face and neck.”
“Life is either treating her exceptionally well or she had work done,” Dr. Ed Williams, Group Vice President for Public and Regulatory Affairs for the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), says. Dr. Williams also notes that her “cleaner jaw line” is undeniable.
As for how her doctors pulled it off, Dr. Fallek says it was “probably a short scar facelift as she is younger and doesn’t have much extra skin.” This sort of facelift involves a shorter incision that begins at the top of the ear and is then disguised inside the ear.
Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Renato Calabria suggests another way — grafting fat or stem cells to her face. “This procedure is done by harvesting the fat in other part of the body and in case of fat grafting injecting it back to the face trough tiny incisions,” Dr. Calabria says.
Yet another surgeon, Dr. Richard Norden, FACS of Norden Laser Eye Associates, believes that Kate may not have had a full-fledged facelift, but utilized Botox and a new form of facial rejuvenation: “Her neck seems to be noticeably lifted. I would guess that she had the hot new non-surgical facelift using non-invasive ultrasound called Ultherapy.”
Kate Also Got Minor Rhinoplasty
But her face isn’t the only thing that looked different; our experts also noticed that work’s been done on Kate’s nose! Dr. Stephen Greenberg, Author of A Little Nip, A Little Tuck, and host of a plastic surgery radio show on KJOY 98.3 FM, surmises that Kate underwent a procedure called “tip rhinoplasty.”
Dr. Calabria explains Kate’s “tip work,” saying, “Tip rhinoplasty is usually done just to thin out the roundness of the tip giving it more definition.
Kate Gosselin’s Plastic Surgery: How Much It Cost
Dr. Fallek estimates that Kate’s plastic surgery cost “About 10 grand for the face and $7,500 for the nose.”
We’re wondering where Kate got together all that cash for such elaborate procedures! The show that brought her fame, Jon & Kate Plus 8, ended its run in Sept. 2011.
Kate was also fired from her blogging job at CouponCabin! In a statement, the website’s CEO said, “A series of recent events have made it clear to me that Kate Gosselin and her contributions do not align with the authenticity which we set out to build almost a decade ago.”
